Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Histovista, we provide immediate digital automotive administrative services. Because our services involve the instant processing of data and submissions to official databases, specific statutory rules apply to your right to cancel.

By using our services, you agree to the following policy:

1. Waiver of Right to Cancel (Immediate Service)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers usually have a 14-day "cooling-off" period to cancel an online purchase.

However, this right does not apply to digital services once the performance of the service has begun with the consumer's express consent and acknowledgment that they will lose their right to cancel.

Express Request for Immediate Performance

By placing your order and proceeding to payment, you expressly request that we begin providing the service (e.g., HPI Check, VRT Calculation, or processing of a Crit'Air application) immediately.

Waiver at Payment

You hereby acknowledge and agree that by completing the payment, you waive your statutory 14-day right to cancel. The service is initiated instantly upon successful transaction, and the contract is deemed fully performed at that moment.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are strictly limited and will only be considered in the following circumstance:

Technical Failure

If a major technical error originating solely from our platform prevents the delivery of the requested report or service, and we are unable to rectify the issue within 3 working days.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

No refunds will be issued in the following cases:

  • Change of Mind — As the service starts immediately upon payment, you cannot cancel the request once the transaction is complete.
  • User Error — If you have provided incorrect information, such as an inaccurate Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), registration mark, or email address.
  • External and Administrative Delays — Delays caused by third-party government agencies (e.g., postal delays for physical badges or governmental database downtime) are beyond our control and do not entitle the user to a refund of our service fees.
  • No Data Found — If a report is successfully generated but shows "No Data Found" because the vehicle is not registered in the searched databases, the service is considered fully rendered.

Please provide your full name, date of transaction, and a detailed description of the technical issue. We aim to review all claims within 5 to 10 working days.

5. Method of Refund

Any approved refunds will be issued back to the original payment method. Please note that your bank may take additional time to process the credit to your account.
